Welcome to iTaabsii. These terms explain how our service works and what we expect from each other. We've written this in plain language because legalese helps no one.
Here's the core principle: when you use iTaabsii, your phone or computer IS the server. Your video is recorded, processed, and stored entirely on your device. We never see it, we never upload it, and we never have access to it.
This isn't just a privacy feature. It's the entire architecture. You own your data because it literally never leaves your possession.
iTaabsii provides a digital witnessing service. Here's exactly what happens:
• You record up to 60 seconds of video using your device's camera (locally in your browser)
• Our code generates a cryptographic hash of your recording (still on your device)
• We store that hash and timestamp in our database (just the fingerprint, not the video)
• You can pay €2.99 to download your witnessed video (from your device's memory)
• Your video stays in temporary memory until download or page closure
The witnessing happens through the cryptographic hash. It's a unique fingerprint that proves your video existed at that specific moment, without revealing anything about the content.
Let's be clear about what iTaabsii is NOT:
• It's not a legal document or binding contract
• It doesn't make your declarations legally enforceable
• It doesn't provide legal advice
• It's not a cloud storage or backup service
• It doesn't guarantee any specific outcomes
• It doesn't preserve your video if you close the browser before downloading
iTaabsii is a tool for creating timestamped, cryptographically verified recordings. What you do with those recordings, and whether they have any legal or practical effect, is entirely up to you.
By using iTaabsii, you're responsible for:
• Only recording content you have the right to record
• Not using the service for anything illegal or harmful
• Understanding your video is ephemeral until downloaded
• Saving your own copy after downloading (we don't keep backups)
• Any consequences of what you choose to record or witness
• Obtaining necessary consents before recording others
The payment model is simple:
• Record for free (up to 60 seconds, happens entirely on your device)
• Your cryptographic hash is stored (proving the video existed)
• Pay €2.99 to download your witnessed video
• Download happens immediately after payment
Payment is processed by Paddle.com. We just receive confirmation to unlock your download. Once you pay and download, the video file is yours. We can't take it back, and you can't re-download it later.
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Details are in our Refund Policy, but the short version is: if you're not satisfied, we'll refund you. Even if you've already downloaded the video.
You cannot use iTaabsii to: Record or distribute illegal content; Violate anyone's privacy; Harass others; Spread malware; Impersonate others; Create fraudulent content; or Attempt to hack the system.
Technology isn't perfect. Your browser might crash, your internet might disconnect, or your device might run out of memory. iTaabsii is provided "as is" without warranties. We work hard to make it reliable, but we're not responsible for lost videos or missed opportunities.
You own your videos completely. We don't claim any rights to your content. The cryptographic hash we store is just metadata, not your content. The iTaabsii service itself (code, design, brand) remains our property.
We can modify, suspend, or discontinue iTaabsii at any time. If we shut down, we'll try to provide notice, but we can't guarantee forever storage of the metadata hashes.
These terms are governed by Dutch law (iTaabsii is registered in the Netherlands). Any disputes will be handled in Dutch courts. We also respect your local consumer protection laws.

We built iTaabsii differently. Instead of asking you to trust us with your data, we designed a system where you don't have to. Your device is your server. Your videos are yours. We just provide the cryptographic witnessing layer. This is sovereignty by design.
