At iTaabsii, we believe privacy isn't something we grant you. It's something you own. That's why we built iTaabsii with a simple principle: your device is your server, and you are in control of your data.
Your videos never leave your phone or computer. Ever. We don't upload them, we don't store them, we don't back them up, and we never see them. They live on your device, under your control.
The only thing we store is a cryptographic hash of your video. This is a unique fingerprint, like a serial number, that proves your video existed at a specific moment in time. The hash reveals nothing about your video's content. It's mathematically impossible to recreate your video from the hash.
Think of it like this: if your video is a book, the hash is just a receipt that proves the book existed. You can't read the book from the receipt.
We store the cryptographic hash for one reason: to create a witness proof. This timestamp and fingerprint combination proves that your video existed at a specific moment. That proof lives in our database, but your video stays with you.
Without storing the hash, we couldn't provide the witnessing service. But we've designed it so that's literally the only data we need.
Because your device is your server, you're responsible for your own data. That means:
• If you close your browser before downloading, your video is gone (we can't recover it, we never had it)
• If your device crashes, your video is lost (we don't have backups)
• Once you download your video, keeping it safe is up to you
This isn't us avoiding responsibility. This is us giving you true ownership. Your data belongs to you, not in our cloud.
When you pay €2.99 to download your witnessed video, that transaction is handled entirely by Paddle.com. They collect your email for the receipt and your payment details to process the charge.
We receive a payment confirmation from Paddle that lets us unlock your download, but we don't see or store your payment card details. Ever.
The only payment-related data we store is a transaction ID from Paddle, which we link to your video hash. This lets us verify that payment happened for that specific witness.
We don't collect:
• Your video content (it never leaves your device)
• Usage analytics or behavior tracking
• Cookies for advertising or tracking
• Your location
• Personally identifiable information beyond your email (from Paddle)
• Browsing history or device information
• User accounts or profiles
We built iTaabsii to need as little data as possible. Your privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation.
You have the right to request a copy of any data we have about you. In most cases, that's just a cryptographic hash and a timestamp. You can ask us to delete it anytime by emailing privacy@itaabsii.com.
Keep in mind that deleting your hash means the witness proof is gone. We can't verify that your video existed anymore. But it's your data, your choice.
These rights apply regardless of where you live, though residents of the EU (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have additional legal protections that we also honor globally.
The cryptographic hashes we store are kept in a secure database with encryption in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and host on Google Cloud Platform.
That said, we can't guarantee absolute security. No one can. We're honest about that. But we've designed the system so that even if our database was compromised, attackers would only get hashes, not your videos. Your videos were never there to steal.
iTaabsii is not for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If a child has used our service, contact us at privacy@itaabsii.com and we'll delete any associated hash records.
If we change this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version. If the changes are significant, we'll email you (if you've made a purchase) or post a prominent notice.
Continued use after changes means you accept them. If you don't, please stop using iTaabsii.
